Glad to reach Day 10 of the cleanse…the video says it all.

Time to breath…spring is here.

Saturday, March 8th, 2008

As the months of January and February blew by, some interesting events took place that I jotted down in different places (my office is a disaster zone). I just couldn’t seem to find the time to blog for the last 3 months and I’m pleased with my procrastination efforts of 2008.  I did however, gather up all the scraps of paper and reviewed my Google calender to finally get everything posted.

1.15.2008 - Sky turned 4 and is an amazing little human being. He continues to make me marvel, laugh and learn new breathing exercises for moments when I lose my patience.  He’s a bonafide negotiator and never takes no for an answer.

1.18.2008 - My truck was stolen for the second time in less than two years; its been almost 2 months and it doesn’t look like its coming back. It appears its time for a new truck and I guarantee it wont be a “Stealescalade” this time around. Some other information I’ve learned over the past few months is that Vegas has more stolen cars than any other city in the US and Escalades are at the top of the list for the most popular car to steal.

1.27.2008 - I turned 39 years old and soon approaching the big 40. I think I’ll start counting backwards when i hit 40 next year.

2.02.2008 - I Converted from Windows PC to a Macbook pro PC after 15 years of using Windows. The transition wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be, however i’m still learning how to do stuff at the MAC store…I have to say that the MAC stores are the best in customer service i’ve ever seen. Something to be learned at that store, and i’m not talking about how to use a MAC.

2.11.2008 - Purchased a new Blackberry 8830 from Ebay along with some cool new faceplate parts from Hong Kong and I now have the most amazing phone on the planet. It has both GSM and CDMA technology and is good to use anywhere i travel in the world. But that’s not even the cool part; it has the best features, slickest design and is easier to use than any of the 100 phones I’ve tried in the past. I often think about the iPhone, but i dont think i’ll be changing over anytime soon.  This phone is the nuts!

2.17.2008 - Traveled to St. George Utah for the first time last month and found the drive to be amazingly gorgeous. Mountains and canyons were the scenery along the way and the weather was perfect. It might be the next city for the family if all the business dealings go as planned.

2.23.2008 - I enrolled Sky into his first team sport…soccer. Can’t wait for the first practice and game…he’s really excited to play.

2.26.2008 - www.gurupokertour.com was created at the request of my management team for all future poker sponsorship opportunities.

2.28.2008 - Finally decided on a car after renting several kinds over the last month. I purchased a 2009 Nissan Murano fully loaded with all the extras…and I mean all! Leather heated seats, voice activated controls, bluetooth handsfree phone, Ipod connector, Bose 12 speaker system with built-in subs, dual sunroof…and many more toys. I looked at a lot of cars and became a little discouraged after losing my Escalade to the thieves in Vegas, but I think I’m in love again! This time I dare anyone to steal my metal friend…I’ve got LoJack!

3.04.2008 - Went to Sky’s first soccer practice and laughed so hard I almost wet myself. The coach is very cool and makes its really easy for the kids to stay focused with some fun games like “chase the other kid with a shirt tail game…too funny!

day of rest

October 14th, 2007

It was a relaxing day with the family and I chose not to do any activity today except play at the park with my son.  My body is a bit achy from the long ride yesterday, but not where i expected.  My back, neck and abdomen are very sore, while my legs are not.  I’m not sure why this is, but I have continued pain on the right side of my neck and shooting pain into my right temple.  I cant seem to shake these headaches i’ve been getting from before the MC and nothing seems to be working.  I dont want to take any aspirin or pain medication as I dont want to mask the problem.

At this point I’m going to have to find a good neck and back specialist to help me out, as its not gettting any better maybe even worse.  This is really frustrating as the rest of my body is getting healthly, this chronic neck, back and head pain is hindering me.  I’m thinking of going to an old friend in LA who is an accupuncture doctor to see if he can help me out with this or send me to someone who can.
